Refund and Cancellation Policy

We try to make this simple. Cancel any time. Subscriptions don't auto-refund, but unused work hasn't started yet — so most reasonable requests get sorted out quickly.

1. Cancelling your subscription

You can cancel your monthly subscription at any time from your billing page or by emailing support@businessbasehq.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You'll keep access until then.

2. Subscription refunds

Subscription fees are billed in advance and are generally non-refundable. If something went clearly wrong on our side — for example, an extended outage or a billing error — contact us and we'll make it right.

3. Add-on refunds

  • Before work starts, add-on fees (like LLC formation or annual report filing) are fully refundable.
  • Once we've started preparing the filing, add-on service fees become non-refundable because the work has been performed.
  • State filing fees are paid directly to the state and are non-refundable once submitted. We can't recover fees the state has already accepted.

4. Mail and forwarding charges

Postage, handling, and overage charges (such as extra mail items beyond your plan limit) are billed as incurred and aren't refundable once the action has been performed.

5. What happens to your data after cancellation

You can download your documents and mail scans before cancelling. After cancellation we retain your data for a limited grace period in case you want to reactivate, then it's scheduled for deletion subject to legal and audit requirements. See our Privacy Policy for details.

6. Mail received after cancellation

We'll attempt to forward or return mail received within a short window after cancellation. After that, items may be refused and returned to sender. Please update your business address with senders before you cancel.

7. Suspended or closed accounts

Accounts suspended or closed for policy violations or unpaid balances aren't eligible for refunds of the affected period.

8. How to request a refund

Email support@businessbasehq.com with your account email and a short description. We aim to respond within 2 business days.
